Vul uit in 50 ml-flesjes met Dose-Pac-garnituur. De druppelvloeistof is 1 jaar houdbaar. Conservering is niet noodzakelijk; de oplossing moet bij kamertemperatuur worden bewaard en niet in de koelkast vanwege het hoge stolpunt van acetem (7°C).
Met de druppelopzet is de dosering individueel goed in te stellen. De smaak van de vloeistof is acceptabel voor de patiënt. Absorptie van het farmacon vindt (ten dele) plaats via het lymfatische stelsel, waarbij de lever wordt omzeild.4
